Outlet Manager/ Assistant Manager

Pop Meals is one of the fastest-growing food brand startups in Southeast Asia. We make our food brand affordable and accessible through dine-in experience in our outlets and via our food delivery app. Towards the end of 2019, we began introducing trending food such as our salted egg butter chicken and mac & cheese which received lots of love & great feedback from our customers. Funded by Y Combinator and leading tech investors from Silicon Valley, Europe, and Asia, we’re conquering a trillion-dollar market in the most exciting region of the world.

You responsibilities:

• Ensure all SOPs & reporting are adhered to and consistently carried out with HQ for all valuable items/inventory (Receiving of meals, add-ons, Cash from COD, bags, etc.)
• Ensure resources (manpower and assets) are sufficient for receiving, preparation of meals, dispatch and last-mile riders
• Ensure on-time delivery (AOT), preparation from production to courier handover cycle time, while ensuring food & rider ratings meets targets driven from HQ 
• Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are sustained as per HQ requirements
• Own the overall upkeep of the facility and equipment, drive 5s holistically and continuously
• Forecast planning to anticipate future supply (e.g. sufficient riders, add-ons, manpower), as well as equipment & inventory (e.g. bags, spoiled equipment)
• Collaborate with HQ to implement new strategies/processes while ensuring change management is carried out.

You are:

• At least 1-2 year of experience managing restaurant operations (Preferably QSR restaurant chains).

• Exposure in a last-mile delivery and/or tech startup would be preferable

• Having an experience in building SOPs and trackers, as well as 5S methodology 

• Has outstanding people management skills with empathy and willing to help others improve

• Excellent organizational skills & readiness to get hands dirty to get things done independently with limited support & guidance

• Willingness to work outside the comfort zone & being always up for challenges
